BARRIER TO ENTRY is a term describing factors that prevent newcomers from entering a market or industry sector, limiting both accessibility and competition. Barriers include high start-up costs, hurdles, or other obstacles that prevent workers and entrepreneurs from easily entering a sector.
We, as Democrats, should work to dismantle barriers to entry for interns, staff, and candidates so our government can reflect its people.
